The overall experience at this restaurant is pretty average. While it features a modern English decor and ambiance, it oddly evokes memories of a bar from the Polish People's Republic. On the plus side, they offer affordable beer and pleasant music, which is surprisingly not too loud, a rarity for English pubs. I would rate the service a 4 and the atmosphere a 3.
I think the place needs some cleaning and a more modern touch. On Friday night, I noticed the crowd seemed quite young and there were instances of people stumbling around. That’s not really the atmosphere I want to experience during a night out!
Great beer at £2 a pint for John Smith's! The sports bar has plenty of TVs and features live music most Fridays. Plus, it’s a late bar open until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
