We have been to the Coach Horses many a time after Julian bought it and opened it up again. The food has always been phenomenal and everything to die for. So we decided to book last Saturday and felt it was very short lived....We arrived and ordered drinks. There was no lime juice to go with lager or any blackcurrant just orange which is a no no. One of our party asked for a Malbec and they didn’t have any. The menu was really short and basic. We are mad steak eaters and for a Saturday night we expected off the grill. My wife and I visited this pub with our dog Milo. After what was a lovely Sunday Lunch I went to pay. I settled up and as I did a very large dog (the owners Mastiff) pushed passed me in order to get to Milo....It pushed my wife out of the way and tried to attack him. I had to swing Milo out of the way on his lead whilst the owner wrestled the dog into the other room. As I lifted Milo the dog had a second go and fortunately just got a mouth full of fur! The owner tried to laugh it off and said hes a ‘big softy’! He wasn’t! He then also tried to say that he didn’t know there was another dog in or he wouldn’t have been allowed down! This was at 19:00! once before and wrote an excellent review. came with the family of this eve and eating was a complete abandonment. soggy pudding like rice with the curry and terrible soggy chips. the fish and chips were terrible, soggy terrible chips and near no existent...Fish with thick tasteless teig!!! we complained to the bar/waitress staff and she said she told the cook, but no one came out to see us. totally unprofessional. we paid the full amount, but we will never return and will not recommend definately!

Recently returned to The Coach and Horses for lunch with friends and enjoyed a truly tasty treat. The menu choice, although reduced since our previous visit, offered variety and had something to suit each member of our party. Everything arrived piping hot, beautifully presented and...enough for the biggest appetites. Add to that the cosy surroundings and you'll find the perfect place for a lunchtime treat.
passed the coach and horses on the way in flint and thought how beautiful it looked so on the way back popped in for drinks and eating what I can say absolutely amazing . the 2 youngs serving were so friendly and attentive and eating was delicious will go back definitiw x best pub that I visited in a because.
mix them with the booking (our disorder) was immediately sorted and they quickly set up a table of 6 for us. eating was fantastic and we all enjoyed every cure. service was wonderful and we had a great evening we look forward to coming back soon. Thank you.

we went to Sunday dinner and were not disappointed. the bratbeef and the truthahn were amazing. our daughter had the sticky toffee pudding, which was also amazing. clean, family and dog friendly. book them in advance to avoid disappointment.
