My family and I would like to say a huge heartfelt Thankyou to the management and their excellent team, at The **** Inn,Wivelsfield Green.We had booked our Christmas Dinner there and arrived on a cold,wet and windy Sunday lunchtime but as soon as we entered this local country inn our spirits were lifted by the warmth of the welcome we received.The ages in our party ranged from 93 to 7 years old so could have proved a challenge for the staff but they all, experienced and novices,treated us with respect,friendliness and professionalism. We made a mistake by not booking ahead, but we were still able to get a table at the restaurant. The staff was friendly, and the food and service were very good. We ordered starters and mains, which were of great quality, but we found the mains portions to be too large after having starters. We could only finish about half of the portion. The menu offered typical pub lunch options along with specials of the day. Although smaller portions were available, we didn't choose them this time. We will definitely consider getting smaller portions next time. The atmosphere was good, the food was delicious, and the staff was lovely. We would recommend this restaurant as it offers good value for money....
My party of five enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch in early December. The service was exceptional, with staff ensuring that our meals met our expectations and promptly offering more drinks when our glasses were empty. Gareth, the chef, and his team work wonders in a tight kitchen space. Special thanks to Andy and Sam for their warm hospitality.

Very popular and busy. Why? Because it is very good. Not a huge menu but add in the specials and you have a great range of foods. Well cooked, well presented, well served and at a decent price. I recommend it.
