I've been visiting CB for 21 years, including both Brea locations—the original one on Brea and Randolph streets and now the one on Brea Imperial. The manager, Dennis, and his assistants, Mary and Chandler, have always provided outstanding service. In fact, I used to bring them a box of PK donuts on Sundays just to show my appreciation. Since Dennis has left the company, it seems a new team is taking charge. I hope the new staff learn from their predecessors because if they do, the restaurant will continue to be excellent.
It appears there's a problem every other time I visit this place. The other locations are far better. The staff is consistently slow and seems like they dislike their jobs. They can be quite rude as well. I was served an iced tea that looked like dirty water—why would they even consider serving that? When I complained, it took another 10 minutes to get a new iced tea, and it came without any ice. It's just ridiculous.
The cashier, Skyler, was quite rude and abrupt. When I brought my concerns to the manager, she simply stated, "We're really busy," and then walked away. Being busy doesn’t justify treating customers poorly. I had already placed my order, but I ended up asking for a refund. This establishment does not deserve my hard-earned money or patronage.
This place can be hit or miss. I tried their Vietnamese coffee, and it was one of the worst things I've tasted in a while. It had the flavor of burnt iced coffee combined with sour milk and sugar-free vanilla creamer. On the other hand, their cinnamon roll was delicious! It had the texture of a soft, sweet croissant. This location has a drive thru and indoor dining. The staff here is very pleasant and fast. I ordered an Iced Blended Mocha Frappuccino and it came out perfect. Thank you Mary and your team, keep up the good work.
This location never fails to be the worst. The drinks are always poorly made. I don't know what or who it is but how can you mess up ice teas.
normally this bean is good but this time my chai tea had all types of stuff in from pieces of cinnamon to pulp of some sort.

The gentleman working the register, along with the baristas making the drinks, were all very nice.
