They don 't even deserve a star. It 's a cocktail bar with bartenders who only know how to follow pre-defined recipes, not make true drinks. 5 of us ordered drinks and 3 of the people liked what they got. But there were two of us that got the 'Terrible Love ' and yes, they were terrible. We let the bartender know that it wasn 't good and she told us that she can 't take it off the bill. We said that 's fine, even though we didn 't agree with that customer service. For a 2nd drink, we asked for the dealer 's choice but let her know that we didn 't like the flavor profile of the 'Terrible Love '. I recently hosted a company happy hour event at The Vandalist and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and hospitality we received. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a fantastic time, making our group feel welcome and attended to. The drinks were of excellent quality and expertly prepared, while the food was simply delicious. The ambiance was perfect for our event, with great space for socializing and mingling. Yummy $15 cocktails!! Packed on a Thursday night too until maybe 10pmish. Amazing service too. This place is a must on your Whittier bar hopping adventures in the area. They also serve food! Ceviche was bigger sharing portions than expected. Mixologist can make drinks not on the menu, such as normal classics too. I visited with a group of identified women. Great place to catch up at, chat and more. Service was excellent to us. We got alot of water refills without having to keep requesting.
The bartender was fabulous. She did such a great job with our drinks. The gimlet was the perfect amount of sweet and sour, and bonus it was on their happy hour menu. The Pauline Black is a must for any tea lovers out there. They infuse black tea with gin, and yes, the flavors come through. It was the perfect place for a night cap and a small bite. But they have a menu that is intriguing and want to come back to try more.
The cocktails here were exceptional. Sort of a throw back to some drink recipes of the 1920s and 30s but with a few modern twists. This venue has class and charm. Bourbon selection is as it should be with a few hidden surprises. All the bar eats were tasty. As their name suggests, they deliberately destroyed any chance of this becoming a Jack Coke establishment. Bravo.

Great spot for a drink or two. Compliments for the great service and the kick a55 cooks hustling in the back.
