We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. We booked a family room (Room 202) for the weekend to attend a friend's wedding. Upon arrival, the lobby had a pleasant smell, and the presentation was decent for an older hotel, which I personally appreciate. We were initially impressed. However, the room did not match the advertisement. Despite this, we chose to stay and make the best of it. While relaxing in our room, we heard a loud thump coming from the bathroom ceiling, where the tiles are located. My husband listened closely and heard mice in the ceiling. Worst service ever. Took forever to even check in and get keys as hotel front desk staff was out smoking and bar staff had to go find her. One of the keys didn 't work. Room was NOT as advertised. Family room was supposed to have 2 double and 1 queen bed. It didn 't. Instead it had 2 doubles and a small pullout sofa that was so old it was bowed in the centre and there were springs sticking through the mattress. There was NO bedding or pillows in the room for this bed and it took staff almost an hour to locate some. Their only family room is located directly over the bar so the whole night we listened to music so loud it shook the beds. My children were unable to sleep at all. A call to the f...
Booked a room online and requested to pay at the hotel. Was charged prior to even checking in. Once I got there to check in, they had rented my room out and had to wait an hour for them to clean a new room. The room was far from clean with food on the headboard, stains on the pillows and dirt on the floor. I checked out the following day and have requested a refund twice. Which has not been given yet as of October 23rd. I checked out on September 7th. It's completely unacceptable.
This is by far the most unpleasant hotel I've ever stayed in. There's a significant accumulation of flies and dirt on the radiator, and the fridge is filled with grime and remnants of old, moldy food. The bathtub looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. The bed sheets, bedspread, and pillows all have stains on them. The walls are dirty, and there are intoxicated individuals wandering the halls. I would not recommend staying here. Service: 1 star. I do not recommend staying here. When we attempted to check in, a bar patron confronted us and followed us to our room, making us feel unsafe throughout the night. Additionally, the bar downstairs plays loud music until 2 AM. There are a few other reputable hotels in the area, and you would definitely regret not choosing one of them. Service: 1
Stopped into the bar for lunch , old place but I was delighted to see they had Indian food on the menu. Prices were fair food was good and the woman who I assume was the owner was very friendly and helpful. We would probably go back for more currie, I also figure it's a good place for a cold beer on a hot day. Service: 5 Location: 5
