We went here for breakfast last week while in Twillingate hiking. Lovely little place built in the owners home. Very cozy. The server was very nice. Service was great. The toutons are the must have here. Really well cooked. I had a breakfast sandwich. A...little thin for but the homemade bread and toutons made up for it. We bought some baked treats to have on a big hike that day and the chocolate snowballs were awesome with a cup of tea halfway through the hike. A really nice place. Really respect someone for having the initiative and creativity to build such a nice location for tourists in her home. We had a delicious breakfast at the Cozy Tea Room.Two charming sisters run the Tea Room, and shared stories of the lovely decorations on the walls and customers. We especially loved the photo taken by Don Lane! There was Gluten-Free bread for husband, and delicious...things to eat for me. I had fishcakes, beans, eggs and homemade bread and jam. It was partidgeberry jam, and the sister who makes it has a special way to make it extra good. I bought some Maid of Honour tarts to try. We ate here twice. The first time was for dinner and we liked it so much that we returned for breakfast the next day. The baked beans and cod cakes were so good, and the homemade bread is perfect. I grew up with home cooking...and baking and the food and company here made me feel like I was at home. Don't miss it. Don't go somewhere else because it looks fancier, or hipper. We tried a couple of those places too, and non compared to Cozy's.
Great place to start your day. Lovely little restaurant. Great owners and staff who told us stories of the area and their family connections to the artwork we bought at local shops. Really made you feel part of the story. Food was completely homemade (even...the baked beans) fresh and tasted great. They also have a small bakery and we left with fresh cinnamon rolls.
Loved the food. Great traditional NL meals; all home made. Baked goods as well. Service was awesome. Had a wonderful chat with the owner.(who also served on us and made all the food and baked goods). Right in the town of Twillingate.
Four of us dropped by here for a quick bite before heading on our way on our travels. The lasagne was yummy, the cod burger delicious! Very friendly staff.
We had a fantastic meal here a few days ago. This place is a hidden gem. Even our month old toddler enjoyed the fish brewis, and toutons.
The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent and true to Newfoundland tradition. The cod burger was my favorite item.
