This charming little spot near downtown Kitchener offers a cozy atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff. The menu is fairly limited, primarily featuring burgers, pizzas, and poutines. The poutine selections are truly tantalizing! We tried the Buffalo Tuscan poutine and while the fries were outstanding, the spicy buffalo chicken was a tad too salty. Nevertheless, the overall flavor was fantastic. I recommend pairing it with their fresh house salad for a satisfying meal. We also opted for a side of curry sauce, as we struggled to choose among the poutine options, and it was absolutely delicious! My son saw that this had a good rating and we are always looking at trying something different. So we took and chance, and wasn't dissapointed. The food did take some time to get prepared, but it was a Sunday at 2:30 and not much traffic in the area. But very good eats. The pizza had generous toppings on it and a nice crisp crust. The dry ribs are boneless and tossed in their canuck sauce which just added to the good flavor. Fries are spot on cooked to perfection. Will go back again when we're in the area.
My initial review was a year ago but we visited tonight right before the comedy show at 7. We had a minor hiccup but it was addressed by the owner with kindness. Definitely a stand up guy and a 10/10 for the way it was handled. We still highlyrecommend this place the pulled pork and brisket is unreal. My partner and I have visited this place three times for the Rusty Nail comedy show, and the comedy is the only reason we keep coming back. Unfortunately, we've noticed a consistent issue with their service. Each time, they've forgotten our orders or failed to manage the seating effectively, making it seem like they don’t even remember we’re there. My husband and I dined in earlier today and ordered the confit wings, the best burger in town, and the Friday special fish and chips. The burger and wings were decent, but unfortunately, the fish and chips were extremely greasy. I had to use two napkins just to soak up the excess grease from the fish. On the bright side, the service was good. Overall, I would say our experience was a bit disappointing.
I’ve lived for 20 years and have never had a poutine as amazing as this one. The presentation was simply stunning as well. Considering the price, it’s tough not to give it a full 5 stars. I’m from London, Ontario, but I will definitely be returning to dine here again!
The food here is great and the portions are HUGE. The owner was super friendly and told us they do live comedy shows between lockdowns. Based on the pictures on his walls of previous shows it seems like it would be fun and I look forwards to going backfor that.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this diner. It's a must-visit if you're in the area of the St. Jacobs Farmer's Market. Be sure to try their double smash burger!
