This a good name for this restaurant. The dinner selection and its presentation is very creative. I had lamb shank and my wife had pickerel. Appetizer was mushrooms, done up like escargot. Nice outdoor deck overlooking marina and Lake Muskoka ideal depending on weather. Trees provide shade at dinner time. Good service and friendly atmosphere throughout. Quite popular but they don't take reservations.
Our table enjoyed a great meal - the service was attentive and quick. The food was delicious. Our lunch time meals were the hamburger specials (hand-made all beef burgers) and a few different salads. They were able to accommodate a wheat and corn sensitivity easily. We would recommend the restaurant and we would return again. If it's a nice day try to eat on the patio overlooking the water.
Sat our party of six right away. Service was prompt and friendly, despite a busy mid-summer, Cottage Country night. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Creative Plate. Definitely recommend and will return next time we visit Muskoka.
Fish Taco was really fresh and well seasoned my husband really liked it, however the turkey pasta feature was not something I'd order again. It had very little flavour and the turkey was very very dry.
