Mum and dad 91 and 90.....stopped off after shopping to get fish and chips (probably one between them my mum drove and she went in as dad wasn't too good that day. When she had ordered and paid , the lady (I think it was a lady asked her if she wanted them taking to the car......mum declined the offer and said she was OK as she had parked in a nearby car park. I had to put a review here after mum told me over the phone. What a lovely person behind the counter, thank you for being such a caring and thoughtful person. The fish and chips were fab too.
Went at 12.15 and 2 portions out of 3 of the chips looked reheated so I asked if they were fresh. One person behind the counter looked confused by the question and another employee advised everything is fresh.... The pics look better than the reality of what we had, 2 portions were shrivelled up and cold. Only 1 portion of chips looks fresh and tasted different from the other 2. I have experienced this twice now so will be mindful to wait till its busier or look at the chips before placing an order
Delicious food from here last night. Fresh, tasty fish. Fresh, proper chips. Large sausages were good, as were the peas. The spam in batter was a bit bland, but that is spam, I suppose. Despite a big queue (a good sign), service was quick and friendly. Lots of pie choice on the board too!!!
Never had a bad fish and chips here yet! Only downside is opening hours don't seem to align with when they are actually open, so always have a back up plan if you take a trip here. The women working there are always super lovely and do a great job of giving you fresh or of the fryer fish! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Not the best quality of food Staff friendly. It is easy to park by, but there are better chip shops nearby . Food quality was our main disappointment.
Had travelled past a few times but this time nice to try a new place, food was worth every penny,will be calling again at some point
