I always dine at this restaurant whenever I visit Adelaide and have never had any issues - the food is usually fantastic. My meal was excellent as always, while my friend ordered the Daily special, Beef pie. Unfortunately, she found the meat to be very tough and difficult to eat. We informed the staff, who were quick to offer a replacement meal. However, my friend chose not to have anything else.
This restaurant/pub was a great find! Very old-worldy. We were greeted and served well. Nice spacing between tables, unlike other restaurants. The location does have that old-musty smell about it and we weren't given enough bread rolls for the amount of people dining but the mains were good sizes and tasted great!
After years of driving by the place and saying we should gothere one day. Well one day happened and could not be happier. Food and service was first rate althrough a little pricy. Delicious entrees and Steaks cooked to perfection. Worth a try if your down that end of the city.

Everyone enjoyed his meals that were served quickly and were pissed hot! The staff was nice. They provided gluten-free and there were several menu options. When ordering, I felt confident that they know the requirements of this diet.
Steak is always great. Fish and chips were also good. Wait for a long time before our orders were taken. We had to shut down the staff to take over our orders after some time.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the music creates a great atmosphere. I can always count on a great experience here.
