The atmosphere of the café was lovely, and the staff were so accommodating that they even arranged a little tour for our friend who couldn't join us, as well as allowed us to take home the cake that we couldn't finish. There was so much food that it was incredible—I was really glad I skipped breakfast that day! We will definitely return, and I would happily recommend it as one of the best places I've been to. The people were wonderful, the food was excellent, and they have everything you could want, all while being accessible for individuals with disabilities.
I had a fantastic afternoon at your Leyland café with my mother as a belated birthday treat. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that there were several afternoon tea menus to choose from, setting you apart from the competition. The food we received was freshly prepared, with beautiful flavors and excellent presentation all around. The soup was AMAZING—my mother even declared it the best soup she has ever had! The welcoming staff and cozy atmosphere made it all the more inviting, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
saw the lovely rating and that it was just two minutes from my location I decided to pop over for a full English. met some wonderful locals headed that way and they asked the hostess to save us a table. too late for breakfast instead enjoyed a chicken, bacon bagel and melted cheese. it was chewy and tasty and delicious. Americano served nice and hot washed it down nicely. the cafe is alice and wonderland themed and i recommend a visit. prices were moderate and was well pleased by my decision to stop in for a bite.
it was great. had the afternoon, and it was delicious. a selection of sandwiches, savouries and a selection of homemade cakes, with tea, coffee or cold drinks. I had carrots and walnut cakes and it was moist and very good. my son had the blueberry and lemon cake, also moist and tasty. alice in the wonderland themes, heart-shaped feen, big playing cards on the deck, quirky but cozy. a warm welcome. wheelchair accessible. we parked where mcdonald’s, lidl, b and m are lavish. free for 2 hours. googled caffes in leyland, when we were on Haydock races and wanted somewhere else, what a nice place helpful staff good quality round not the cheap sausages that they normally crumbled on the tomat and seasoned mushrooms just the small extra that goes a long way wonderful place. recommended 5*
A traditional style British cafe... Except the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. I had a very decent coffee paired up with the nicest Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Perfect poached eggs and a silky hollandaise for less than a fiver. Top marks
Absolutely amazing! The food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. I visited for the first time today, and it definitely won’t be my last time!
