I visited this lovely pub on a Saturday afternoon, and the dining experience was fantastic! My mother started to feel uncomfortable while we were there, but the staff were incredibly helpful. One woman, in particular—I'm not sure if she was the manager as I didn’t catch her name—was outstanding. She offered to look after the children while we attended to my mother and even went to the car to retrieve her wheelchair. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay to eat our meal, but this wonderful lady offered to take our food home for us! Nothing was too much trouble for her. I can’t wait to enjoy another meal there. I would rate it a solid 10/10!
I apologize for not taking any photos. I enjoyed a simple lunch on Sunday and had roast beef that was cooked to perfection and served hot. Everything on my plate was delicious, especially the cauliflower cheese (which I ordered as an extra) — it was fantastic. I can't fault anything. The staff were, as always, amazing. They were attentive without being intrusive. I truly love this place and wish I could come here more often!
The drinks were beautiful and the selection was fantastic. The food was great, especially when we shared the board. Our server was only in her second week, but she was exceptional. This was my first visit, and I’ll definitely be back soon!
