I had the best fish and chips here I’ve ever had in my entire life. The fish itself was fresh, flaky, and perfectly juicy, and the batter was light, airy, and despite me covering it in lemon and vinegar, managed to remain completely crispy throughout the course of eating it. The triple cooked chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the fresh tartar sauce was also extremely high quality. One of my best meals ever! Wasn't sure what to expect on our first visit. Very warm welcome, great vibe in the dining room, looking out over the channel. Sharing dish of lamb, family style was incredible. Flavours and quality of the food was outstanding. Little details too, like being asked if I wanted the glass warming up for my calvados!
