On July 9th, 2016 we were married at The Doctor’s House in Kleinberg, Ontario and the day turned out to be better than we could have ever imagined. As soon as we stepped onto the grounds of The Doctor’s House, we knew it was the perfect place for us to celebrate our wedding day. The Chapel was quaint and traditional, the venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing. We instantly knew we made the right choice after meeting Christine for the first time. Everything was perfect since we went with their preferred DJ and photobooth which were a hit. Theres a lot of restrictions if you go outside of their vendor listing for music. Our guests had a blast and the food was good. We had open bar and midnight poutine bar and was included the candy station. Only the servers kept removing our guests plates before they finished even after telling them. Our coordinator Liana wasnt the greatest, difficult to work with and was mia most of the night. Their previous coordinator who we booked with was much more flexible. However the owner Marc was way more accomodating and easier to work with. The Doctor's House is located in the City of Vaughan Village of Kleinberg. The core of the place, I understand was the home of the village doctor, but it is almost invisible now that the owners have made so many renovations. The village is protected as an historic site. Easy to park and very nice place to sit in the restaurant. We were at a window and had a great view of weddings taking place - it was a beautiful fall day and we must have seen at least 4 or 5 wedding parties.We had lunch - the food was expensive but nicely served and very tasty. Portions were fine as well. Great place to go for a special event.
The food and service was good ... I have been to many nice restaurants where the quality and presentation of the food can compare to this restaurant with a fraction of what we paid for here. The restaurant had a nice visual appearance but I was a little confused to the EDM playing ?? ***To the Management ... are you going for a intimate atmosphere or dance club scene?? We have been at The Doctor's House many times for dinner and Father's Day buffet. One of the best meals we have ever had.Now I am having my daughter's Bridal Shower there in April because my daughter loves the place. Ask for Zoe for the consultation , she is very sweet and very helpful. Looking forward for my daughter's bridal shower. I hope, it will be memorable Bridal Shower.
The location is tucked away off the main roads. We only found it from an online search so decided to visit. All I can say is 5 stars all around. Great food, some of the best service I have ever seen, beautiful restaurant, and walking distance from downtown Kleinburg. Highly recommended. Normally serves off menu, they also offer a brunch buffet menu.
June 30, Wedding reception for 130 guests. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive: several guests had food allergies of one sort or another and everyone was given special attention. The meal was outstanding, and the evening was perfect.

Hands down one of the best meals I have ever had. The beef tenderloin was easily the BEST piece of meat ever. Calamari was out of this world. Cannot recommend highly enough.
