Every dish was delicious, especially the Biscuits and Gravy, Country Fried Steak, Fries, and the delectable Chocolate Sundae. The Bacon Cheeseburger and Fried Mushrooms also stood out and are definitely worth trying. Service was equally impressive, receiving a perfect score of 5. Went to the Dover grill today for lunch, there were only 4 people sitting in the front section and many 6 in the back, I ordered the plate lunch thinking it only takes a few minutes to get out a plate lunch. Wrong! I wanted for 40 minutes by that time the place was full. After 40 minutes I got up and left, when I went to the counter to see if I owed for a glass of water, and told the waitress I had wanted 40 minutes for a plate lunch and was not going to wait any longer, she never even said I am sorry. If you can't get out a plate lunch within 5 minutes or so you need to just close up, I just hate that the one that came in behind me may have to wait an hour or longer. I am just one customer...
1st time stopping here, passed by for yrs never knew it was tucked back in this little plaza on the corner of Dover Rd Spring St! So Very Glad We Found This Place!!! Menu made us both laugh, whoever made it, Hats Off To You! We got the Sampler Platter picked Fried Mushrooms, Onion Rings Pickles! I had the Philly Steak Sandwich Fries my husband got the Chicken Fajitas Fries! We both loved everything! The young lady that waited on us was Extremely Nice, Polite Friendly! So was the young man that greeted us cashed us out! Definitely Recommend This Place To Everyone!!!
We liked this place so much in the first night, we came back to breakfast and dinner next night! The food was great, the decor and the menu was pleasant. We are so grateful that we have found this wonderful diner. We ordered land fried pork chop, land fried chicken, the steak chick, breakfast special, appetizer platers, fried mushrooms, sirloin, debrised chicken, Fajitas, strawberry shortcake, chocolate sun, Hershey pie and Brownie avalanine. None of the foods disappointed. Our waitress, Kayleen was wonderful? such a great experience!

The food is just okay. The burgers don't come with lettuce, tomato, etc. At least mine didn't. I wasn't asked if I wanted them either. The food took a long time and the service was poor. We've visited Dover Grille a few times since moving to Dover and have never been disappointed. My kids love the variety of items! My son said I have to give 5 stars just for the biscuits and gravy ?! Did I mention how wonderful the staff was?? Nothing but the best service!!
Good meat and side for 6.99. With many many choices served hot and fresh by supper friendly staff. Who are quick to keep your sweet tea full. Take some time to enjoy all the pun tastic signs.
Breakfast was good! Came out piping hot. Biscuits were great! Gravy was delicious. Our server was very polite. Would like to come back to try dinner or lunch ?
