Just returned from having a coffee at Drabbet. Come here quite often but this was the worst experience we have had. First we sat at a high table 2 of the chairs are completely worn out with foam hanging out and filthy so need to swap chairs around then there is food over one of them and the floor underneath was filthy!! Asked if it could be cleaned which was done very begrudgingly by one of the young staff with lots of muck still left behind. Before we left went to the toilets and while there a knock on the ladies and a lad just leaned round and signed the toilet check list, I asked shouldn't it be checked and I was ignored and he left!! Lots of the chairs are falling apart and the cleanline...
This restaurant experience was a complete disgrace. I entered to clarify if my assistance dog would be allowed, but was told that dogs were not allowed. I informed the bartender that assistance dogs are legally required to be allowed, and he suggested we sit outside with the dog outside the designated seating area. However, shortly after, a manager with a rude attitude told us to leave. I expressed my frustration and walked away, as arguing with someone unreasonable is pointless. There was no signage indicating that dogs were not allowed, and it was against the law to deny entry to an assistance dog. The staff were unpleasant. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
This restaurant is a terrible place to eat at these days. I asked for a hot plate and runny eggs, but neither was provided. The eggs were overcooked, the plate was freezing cold, which made the food lukewarm. I asked for a new egg to give them another chance to get it right, but it was carelessly slapped on the table and the server walked away. The new egg also came back with the yolk broken and running all over the plate - it seemed as if it was deliberately done.
The staff at this restaurant have such a bad attitude - they are rude and dismissive. The food was also terrible. My wife ordered a medium rare steak but received a medium well one, while our friend requested a medium steak but got a rare one instead. His plate only had steak and mash, nothing else. The staff clearly don't care about their customers. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

The staff seem to have an rude attitude. Wouldn't not recommend it return here, 1 hour we waited for food, chased it up at the bar told 5-10 minutes still no food asked waitress eventually food come out. But no apologies and seem to have a ride attitude. First time visiting wouldn't definitely no return. It's definitely not a happy, relaxing atmosphere very loud and rude staff.
Scruffier than usual Spoons with the floor staff working really hard to keep up with serving and clearing. The stock curry was fine and as expected. Real Ale was cloudy but that’s not unusual. The lady customer who decided it was fine to park her van outside the window for over an hour whilst meeting friends spoilt the view unless the pub had issues with their drains!!
We pop in to the pub every Friday with my father and daughter. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Nothing is a problem for them and they always go above and beyond for us. Thank you for making our Friday family breakfast time special. Shout out to Karen manager, Jack, Luke, Tracey, and Toni
Visited loads of Wetherspoon establishments. By far the worst. 25 minutes waiting for drinks and about 45 minutes for food staff were unhelpful and actually rude. Curry Night, which again worst ever experienced at a Witherspoon. Food either cold or burnt.

Not as big as some Spoons but quality is better than quantity. I liked the way the front opened up onto the street so that we could enjoy the lovely summer weather.
