I was not in the hotel this time, my review is for high tea in the drawing room. we spent a nice afternoon with one of the best tea and delicious food. also the service was excellent. our table was reserved but was not ready to our reservation. they seemed to be very busy and kept control of me that our table was prepared and would soon be available. once the experience was great. our server, victoria, was excellent. pleasant and friendly, and gave us a great suggestion: eat first the cream while it is still warm. it was one of the best scenes I tasted. the rest of the food was also very good. they are not just fingersandwichse. My wife and myself just recently stayed at the Prince of Wales for the weekend. From check in the service was amazing. The concierge was very friendly and informative, the valet/doorman was so helpful. The room was very clean and nice. We went for dinner and it was probably the best steak me and my wife have had. The server Graham was the nicest man as well. We capped our first night off with a carriage ride and the driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. The second night we hung out in the bar and there was a pianist playing. He found out it was our anniversary and came over to our table asked us what our favourite songs were; and played several songs for us. Overall our experience was...
Grace, Nobility, History, Beauty, Grandeur, Service, Gastronomical delight. There are not enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe this restaurant/bar situated in the famous Prince of Wales hotel in Niagara on the Lake. Definitely worth several visits to imbibe everything it has to offer. It was a sheer delight to be there and eat there. The service by Max was friendly, smiling courteous and absolutely first class. Other guests asked us to try their fish and chips and the advice was taken by many of us. It was simply wonderful. The steak sandwich, the soup of the day, the deserts, everything was top notch. The price is slightly above but worth every cent. Try it out and soon.
so beautiful, a beautiful vegan afternoon tea that is delicious, has variety, and is in no way less (or simply sad) compared to the non-vegan version. total surprise to find out that the prince of wales offered a full vegan afternoon tea. it was fab! tasteful sandwiches, a warm wig and several delicious sweets on our tablet and their choice of tea (or champagne, if they are so inclined). my non-veg friends were happy to have the afternoon. we enjoyed vegan breakfast and vegan dinner in the noble restaurant as well. no chance to try their harvest bowl this trip, but would absolutely return.
We had a wonderful time at the Prince of Wales and in the Niagara on the Lake region. We were here for our honeymoon- as business brought a us to the area. Similarly, 20 years later, responsibilities brought us here again and again we found time to celebrate. And the staff at the Prince of Wales for making us feel special all over again. Thank you for all the extra touches, for the smiles, great recommendations, and conversations. Cheers!
what a beautiful place. from the beautiful authentic historical facility to the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. we could not have been happier. that was great. oat with sour cheeks and roasted pfirsichen, lamb made exactly right. the pool is also a perfect attempt and the whirlpool is actually hot! we also made the car ride that was also beautiful and the location couldn't be better. just perfect to finish.
we were there last Sunday until Wednesday and it was beyond words. our suite was beautiful and the staff was excellent from the reception to the staff in the lounge? it is one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. we took the wine car tour from the hotel and it was an explosion. my friend recommended this city instead of staying at the crashes and I am so glad. the place was like vegas?
I'd best go back to a heart. this hotel is elegant, very clean and the staff is wonderful! we went to an evening walk and when we came back to our room there was a fresh rose kn the bed and fresh orange! the pool and the whirlpool were fantastic. all major shops are just a minute away and there is a beautiful park on the street. the promenade is a 10-minute picturesque hike. 100% recommended!
The staff and hotel treated my partner and I like it was the special moment we had hoped for. They helped to answer all of our questions, got us sorted with a fantastic room, and helped us to make some great reservations and arrangements for our stay. Excellent experience, and one we will consider repeating for future anniversaries.
