My friends and I discovered the Ducie on our search for a local pub and what a find it turned out to be. With a large open outside seating area that would satisfy anybody strictly adhering to social distancing. The service was incredibly friendly where we engaged in lovely conversation throughout each transaction, I can only hope that anybody frequenting the Ducie has the chance to meet the absolutely adorable and incredibly affectionate dogs. The Ducie was such a nice experience the first night, that we found ourselves returning the next evening where we had a similarly delightful experience. We would absolutely recommend the Ducie to anybody in the Manchester area looking for a good pub.
Kevin Yvonne have made the Ducie Arms a second home to those of us who work on the Manchester Science Park. The food is fantastic and they are very accommodating when it comes to celebrating those big deadline days after the office. I have enjoyed many a day and night in their establishment company. I’m looking forward to being able to frequent again very soon!
really good pub! we visit every week after the football matches and are never disappointed. kevin and yvonne were also friendly enough to host our xmas there. top selection of beer, friendly service and in the location to order in food from outside is a beautiful note. there are not many alcohols like these left. easy 5 stars
We recently had a retirement party at the Ducie. The food provided by Yvonne and Kevin was excellent and as always there was a well stocked bar.. great pub! one of the few traditional pubs near the city center. it has a good choice of well kept ales, good atmosphere and the owner is a really nice guy. come back to any event!
large small pub! beautiful owners and large selection of beer. one of the few pubs that feels like a real pub. always very peaceful and pleasant to sit and enjoy a drink.
