Ordered afternoon tea for my nieces 40th. Delivery on time. Was given a list of sandwiches one of which was salmon and cream cheese, this was replaced by tuna without any consultation. Also ham and coleslaw was on the list, this came with only ham. The sandwiches came in squares and the bread so thick with not much filling. The scones came ready made with cream and jam, although I’d said I wanted the cream and jam I did think it would be on the side. Scones very tasty and cakes lovely. The soup homemade and very good. Overall a nice afternoon tea but could have been so much better. Thinner bread, more filling and advised of a sandwich replacement. Better presentation without a doubt.
I recently visited this amazing cafe and treated myself to an Afternoon Tea. We indulged in soup, sandwiches, scones, and cakes! It was absolutely fantastic and we ended up needing a cake box to bring home what we couldn't finish. The portions were huge, the prices were great, and the staff was very warm and welcoming. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience. The only criticism I have is that there may have been a bit too much sweet stuff for my taste (perfect for those who love sugar). I would suggest having more soup and fewer cakes, but definitely keep the scones as they were divine! This is just a personal preference, as your chef is truly amazing.
The staff at this small restaurant are incredibly friendly. The menu offers a variety of options, from delicious salads to a traditional English breakfast. They are always willing to accommodate any request. I really enjoy dining here and it has quickly become our favorite restaurant in Ormskirk.
Lovely eatery. Been a couple of times and will definitely be going again. Great choice of food at reasonable prices. Staff are brilliant and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

An all time favourite of mine, as it was my dad's. Jill, Becca and the crew always offer a cheery welcome and the food is always fresh and delicious .
Great service and atmosphere, I had the best lemon drizzle cake slice and my partner loved his Garlic mushroom special!
