I was planning to visit the Dolphin Tavern opposite but apparently it’s closed at the weekend, so I popped in here. Pleasantly surprised! Really nice Victorian pub; some retained features and other aspects more contemporary. A lovely, brightly painted yard out back. Very welcoming, friendly staff I noticed how patient and accommodating they were with foreign tourists. Only two of the four cask ales on, otherwise I would rate it as five stars. Nevertheless, recommended.
I ordered a beef curry. expected the not! full Tali style dish, bursting with taste, amazingly delicate, spicy bark curry, rice with crispy and early nibble, cauliflower curry, dal, potato vig dishes, a super fresh salad with baby lamm salate, any type of dip and a poppadom! everything was simply delicious, very impressed, definitely recommend! nice pub, pleasant and interesting decor, small selection of beer, but they will find something they like!
amazing pet friendly pub with cool decor, pretty little back harden with heating and great staff. we just stopped for a quick drink after a walk in a park with my dog and stayed until the close. screaming for sofia (sofie? who was sooo friendly, even still brought tiny pieces for alvin. she's a willing to go back!
My friends and I called in for a pint on a Saturday evening. It wasn't too busy and we were able to get a table with ease. The staff were friendly and the decor was interesting, especially the model aircraft suspended from the ceiling. I enjoyed my visit and would happily return. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
that could be one of my favorite pubs in the opposite. beautiful beer garden outside, although it is very small. when the sun is out, they will not likely get a place! the pub has quirky decor and old dark wood furniture that make it feel like a real old london pub with a twist.
It was my first time visiting this Pub and it was most enjoyable. The beer they had on offer was good worth while an another visit . I didn't stay long enough to ask about the model aircraft hanging from the ceiling.? A bit busy . Feel free to check it out yourself.?
A great little pub with good beer and friendly, helpful staff. A most enjoyable pint. Another visit on a different day, happy to say just as enjoyable as my previous visit. A lovely little courtyard garden out the back, ideal while the good weather lasts.
Busy, busy backstreet London pub in Holborn area. Scarce seating but good post office vibe. Rapid bar service which is appreciated. If you're there early dig in for the night at a table else plan on just a couple of beers and move on Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
big British pub. much larger than outside. a decent selection of drinks. good service and even an outside area with heating.
