Most people search for seafood naturally when they are at the beach, I like to find a good bowl of pasta after a long day on the beach and this led me to Etna Rosso. This tiny restaurant was tucked into a small shopping center off of a busy road in Lauderdale by the Sea. We were immediately greeted and brought to a cozy table in the dining room. We started our meal with a caprese salad for 2. The salad had beautiful crisp, lemony basil, paired with fresh, mozzarella, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Wow doesn’t begin to explain this place. We had dinner here on 6/24/22. The service was exceptional. The food was totally amazing. The atmosphere was fairly loud but that’s ok. We started with 2 glasses of wine (New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc a Super Tuscan). We had a Brussel Sprout appetizer. They were roasted and served over greens with fontina cheese, figs roasted peppers with a balsamic glaze. So good. Then I had tagliatelle bolognese. Jaw dropping good. The best bolognese I have had in Florida. My other half had bucatini puttanesca. She totally loved it. We were so full but took 2 pieces of limoncello cake to go to eat at home. Mmmm good. Can’t wait to go back.

Came to this restaurant on the last day of my vacation, wish I would've eaten here sooner! I would love to try their entire menu because the bucatini amatriciana and tiramisu were divine! I was dining solo so they were able to squeeze me in but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND calling ahead and making reservations because you don't want to miss out on their cuisine. The service was attentive, helpful, and the food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. this place deserves its 5 stars! the owner was amazing and spoke to the mozens, shared his strata and love to Sicilian living means. the pasta was perfectly cooked. the pasta fagiole suppe was amazing! a person on our table got it and when the rest of us saw it, we also ordered it! a wonderful experience from beginning to end....the only negatiw is that it is not closer to tampa!
Great dining experience. Staff is extremely attentive and eager to please. Dinner was delicious. We were a party of 4 and each of us ordered a different meal we all raved how great it was. Can't wait to go again! Parking was not an issue but I'm sure that changes on any given night and depends on the season. Did I say we'd be back we absolutely will!!
Had a wonderful dinner! My husband had the pesto pasta with chicken and I had the shrimp linguini. Both were amazing! The bread was also excellent. The service was outstanding. You must experience The Etna Rosso. It is fantastic (emphasis added) The quality of the food, the flavors and presentation are off-the-chart great. The owner clearly has pride in this little gem of an Italian Resturant. If calories weren't a concern, Id dine there every night it is so good! Try it, you will return.
