This place was great! I loved trying 5oz portions of different beers. The food was wonderful. Scratch cooking, I can tell. Major props to the chef! There were board and card games at the door as we came in. Plenty of tables, and bar stools. The server was on point, checking in often. We were sat with a large bottle of water to keep us hydrated. There's plenty of seating around, like if there's a wait, and in the ladies room. The apparel looks very cool.
It finally got to Sloop. It's something out of the way, but pizzas were delicious and nice to share. Also the cloth had with Brezel and Dan noodle bowl. The pizzas were amazing. The Dan Dan bowl was a great size, and spice level, but had a little too much a Chinese 5 spice taste that was a little overwhelming. The meal ends with the fig dessert pizza and the pan cookie. Everything was amazing and worth the ride to Sloop!
We went for Thursday night Burger Special. If you order a burger and a page, you will receive a free beer. The beer was delicious? Just note the small beer is really small, a good sample size. The place had a cool industrial atmosphere. Not so easy to find on the site of the former IBM plant with many old factory buildings. You enter the Sloop over a very long corridor, just follow until the end you see the entrance.
Their beer is always good, but mannnnn, the food ?. I def recommend the Mother Clucker fried chicken sandwich. And if you like vodka sauce, the Blush pizza with lemon ricotta cheese. Sooooo good! It was my first time having the Sauer Peach. Smells and tastes just like peaches. Would be perfect for a sunny day by the water. I went home with a 6 pack I loved it so much. I always like coming here. It?s a funky industrial warehouse environment and has never been too crowded. They?re fast and friendly and it is super spacious with good distance between tables. We?ve tried a variety of foods here- pizzas, burgers, their Asian noodle dishes? and everything is good. Not great, but definitely not bad, and I appreciate how adventurous they are with their menu items.
Good beer, good food, good fun for the whole family! Pit stop here with my family halfway through our road trip back to Boston and it was lovely. Lots of space, many tables and lots of good food. We really enjoyed the mushroom pizza, but everything else was just as good. Food: 8/10 Vibes: 7/10 Service: 6/10 Price: 7/10
Such a great spot! I came for lunch with four girlfriends and 6 kids between us all of us and everything was delicious! The staff was so nice and attentive. Confliction sour beer was phenomenal. We already can?t wait to come back.
