Golf club environment obviously but could not fault either the food or service. We were not packed in like you might have expected for a mothers day but clearly the manager was not greedy so plenty of space and perfectly timed service. Well done the Team and Manager. Can't comment on the food but the menus looked OK. My friend and I only popped in for a coffee which was of good quality. The building is located in a lovely peaceful and quiet area. As a none golfer I felt really on edge. Very few customers and food not quite as described. Also over hearing conversation between staff that I'm not entirely sure was appropriate for public consumption.... Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Stopped for a drink while on a walk from hunger hill camping, lovely bar and restaurant, made to feel welcome even though we were not members. Great selection of drinks and a fantastic setting.
Excellent Sunday Lunch al a Carte menu. Two or Three courses. Sweets a treat not to be missed . Relaxing atmosphere in dining room in a scenic parkland setting. Friendly helpful staff.
Queued for a cup of tea, eventually I was directed to a machine(ugh! . That didn't work so queued again and they managed to make a pot manually after a long wait.
