her wonder cake is to die; it is a thoroughly fruity, moist, spicy, dark concoction, a bit like a very high quality brotpudding. they can buy it in a regular size or a large size. the large size is £2 (stand september 2013) and they can cut it into several slices. Oh, yeah, I didn't find it anywhere else. I think it's without flour or egg or it could be without fat or egg. or without 2 other things I can't remember.
Me and my girlfriend were on a weekend break in Shanklin and visited the Falcon pub for a few drinks and liked the place instantly. The people were friendly, the beer was good and reasonably priced and there was sky sports so I could enjoy the sports on offer. If I lived there I'd make it my local.
Best pub on the island, worked at landguard manor in 1976,it was my local then, and still is, when I can manage to get back. Will be returning in June 2024,cant wait to see Kenny and the locals again. Don't be serving me any more of that cider from the case on the bar tho Kenny.

This local bar is a friendly spot where you can enjoy live music on weekends and karaoke on Wednesday evenings. They also have pool and darts for some added fun.
The restaurant staff prioritized local customers, so we had to wait longer than expected for our drinks.
My wife and I had a fun evening watching football at this cozy pub. The prices were reasonable as well.
