After driving past this restaurant probably 15 times, I was intrigued by the sign proclaiming they have the best hot dogs. I wondered if they served breakfast too, which was what I was craving. The breakfast platter consisted of eggs, toast, and a hot dog, but you had the option of sausage, bacon, ham, or a hamburger as well. I believe I made a great choice, as all the food—especially the hot dog—was cooked perfectly and incredibly tasty. I went in today to pick up my order, but I was refused service because I had placed my order at a different restaurant. The staff member told me that she couldn't prepare my food and insisted that I go to the restaurant where I originally ordered. I hadn’t even paid for that order, so I don’t understand why she couldn’t just make my food—seems more like laziness to me. I’ve never been denied service for ordering from another restaurant before. Tradition ! and a GREAT one ! Been coming here since my parents started bringing me 50 years ago. Very little has changed since then except ownership and prices. They have GREAT hot dogs. For the bad reviews... they don't know what a dog like this is supposed to taste like. Great soups and fries too. Deserts are tasty and they have old fashioned milk shakes! The servers are usually as old school as the place itself. They are friendly and fun. What's not to like I ask you? If stepping back in time does not suit you, I get it. Go to McDonalds!
Visited this spot when I visited Hanover. I was super hungry and wanted some local flavor. This place has a may not look like much, but the hot dogs are great. They have a nice snap when you bite into them. The normal dog comes with chili, mustard and onions. I got mine without onions. The chili is fantastic. The fries were ok, nothing special. I'm surprised this place hasn't been on Diners, Drive- Ins and Dives yet.

We absolutely adore the Famous and have never encountered a dish that wasn’t delicious. The historic corner building and charming vintage ambiance are fantastic, and the service is outstanding. If you’re fortunate enough to be served by Sherry, you’ll understand what I mean.
The hot dogs here remain the best in town. It's a charming little diner with friendly staff. However, the cheeseburger my husband ordered was a bit of a disappointment; it came on a long roll and had very little meat. From now on, I think I'll just stick with the hot dogs!
Love their food , ever since Harry’s closed in Westminster I’ve had hard time finding a great hot dog place to come close to the Harry’s hotdog . I found this place , checked it out and now come here weekly. Love the food , the prices , and the great service !!!
This restaurant has a classic diner atmosphere that takes you back in time. The banana shake was incredibly thick and satisfying. The Texas-style burger and hot dog were fantastic! The hot dogs had that perfect snap you get when you bite into the casing.
