We have visited before and enjoyed meals from a varied menu. Sadly, despite lockdowns and covid restrictions no longer being mandatory, the menu is still far more limited. The food ws very good and well presented. Unfortunately while it was very windy and the rain was pouring down the door was kept wide open causing the whole room to be freezing cold. Most customers had to keep their overcoats on throughout their meals as a result. Reasonably priced fayre in what would be pleasant conditions on a warm sunny day .There is a farm shop adjacent to the cafe but there is no entry from the cafe. I presume there is another entrance on the far side of the complex but it wasn't worth venturing round...
Called in today for coffee and cake after seeing the reviews, we were not disappointed as the fruit pie with custard, Sherry Trifle and coffee were the best we have had in along time. The other patrons food looked nice as well. The waitress was really lovely, informative and attentive. The toilets are spotless and the farm shop has a good selection of fresh produce. I can highly recommend this tea room and will visit again soon.
Quality without compromise. Stunning bacon toastie. A beautiful clean establishment. Not a stone left unturned. Staff are friendly, welcoming yet professional. Take a trip for yourselves please. The shop has a great selection of cakes, vegetables and much more. A real pleasure to be able to give a positive review!
Had a nice lunch out at this farm coffee shop/ restaurant both had jacket potato with prawns and salad followed by Raspberry and peach cake served with custard and millionaire shortbread which were very tasty. The place was very.clean and service was very quick will definitely come again
Went for lunch today with my partner and mum , the food was of outstanding quality for all of our meals , the girls are very polite and friendly the ambiance is lovely very welcoming and warm 10 out of 10 will be visiting again soon thank you
We’ve been going here since it opened, and it’s always been good, whether simply having beans on toast, or something more adventurous, quality and freshness never fails, and it’s all backed up with a nice shop.
Thank you so much for a beautiful lunch today all homemade to order flan, sandwich and stunning cakes. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made SO welcome. Would love to go again soon, highly recommended x
We enjoyed an early lunch here. The food and service were very good. I had the full English which was great and my husband had a very meaty steak and ale pie. It was definitely a drive out of our way
On holiday in the area. Stopped here for breakfast based on the good trip advisor reviews, and not disappointed. Good quality tasty breakfast, not overpriced. Friendly staff. What's not to like?
