My wife and I had a reservation at your restaurant earlier today around 445. I put in my comments on Open Table that we were celebrating her birthday, since it asked and requested a patio table. Before I posted our experience as a review on many of the sites we like to post our experiences on, I wanted to tell you of our experience at your restaurant since I saw something mentioned on the receipt. We got there and we were taken upstairs to be seated. We were first seated in the back corner of the restaurant, away from the windows. I said to the hostess that we requested a patio table, and that was the only reason we wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday, for the view and of course the food....
My first visit. Beautiful sunny day so we sat on the upstairs balcony facing the water. Service was very friendly and good. Their house branded draft ale was excellent.I had the roast beef french dip sandwich. Super delicious.What I enjoyed a lot is that for every entree, "you" choose the two sides you would like from a generous list.I choose the garlic masch potatoes and veggies. I was tempted by their trademark mac & cheese side. Will try it next time for sure.If I lived in Barrie, this would be one of my top 3 regular esteries..
I've visited The Farmhouse several times and they are very consistent quality and service.Good food, good portions, great taste. The service is always great and happy staff convey a great place to work and eat.This is the 3rd or 4th owner of a perfect location. But clearly the food wins over location; this operator had been there for several years now. The others didn't last a year.
My wife and I enjoyed are meal, atmosphere, service. Good location. Patio at ground and upper level. We enjoyed upstairs patio with water view. My burger was very good and juicy. Came here for an early dinner and enjoyed a great outdoor table... until it started raining. Our waitress was quick to offer assistance and got us a great inside table. The food was tasty and the service friendly and professional. Will come back again!
The was was REALLY good for the prices of the food, everyone I was with really enjoyed the food they ate. The pickiest eater of the group, found something she actually liked there! Will come back.
The patio has great views of the bay. The lunch was excellent and the next day went back for brunch and the eggs Benedict and omelet were wonderful! A great spot
