Despite having a large menu, the restaurant only offered 1 or 2 gluten-free options. I opted for the fish and chips, which was tasty, but I would have preferred healthier choices. The only gluten-free dessert available was sorbet. Unfortunately, the restaurant was empty when we visited, which created a lack of atmosphere. Although the pub has a good reputation, our experience last night did not live up to our expectations.
I have been wanting to come here for some time and today I made it for a lunch date with my sister. Well it didn’t disappoint. The service was fab and the food was delicious and so much of it. I noticed there was a big garden with a lovely play area which would be great for future visits with my children. Extremely good value for money and in a beautiful peaceful spot.Can’t wait to come back.
Had a nice time for my mother's birthday, although I would say slow service and food was little cold when arrived, then I asked for a cake with candles for my mother coming they only brought out a cake no candles.. What was very unpleasant the moment was corrupted a little was very busy and only serve two employees, But having booked a table for a birthday, it was a little disappointing
beautiful, beautiful place. good old fashion pub at the front then opens to a beautiful winter garden with views of beautiful gardens. eating was a wonderful surprise high end quality, but not high end prices. Lovely, lovely place. Good old fashioned pub at the front then opens to a beautiful conservatory overlooking lovely gardens. The food was a wonderful surprise high end quality but not high end prices. I have never seen Yorkshire puddings in my life like that! Staff were warm and friendly and efficient not something you always get nowadays! Am booking my return trip very soon.
Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening for my wife’s birthday. We ordered our food and I had the mussels and the beef burger. Both were really nice and filling, my wife’s food was equally as nice. We shared a dessert which was delicious too, it was a lovely meal
We enjoyed a delightful Sunday roast and delicious desserts at a great price. The service was exceptional and we felt very well taken care of.
