Being from Queensland, I wanted to treat my daughter and family living in Adelaide to some fresh reef fish. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Fish Man could supply what I needed. The manager very obligingly offered to fillet a while fresh Red Emperor and he did that perfectly not one single bone! And the family said it was the best fish meal they had ever had! So I’ll be back next week to try the salmon from the Fish Man. Congratulations to the staff at the Fish Man Blackwood for your friendly helpful service, and for the high quality product. Good work!
I am local and have been going to the fish man for years. It's a family business, Arthur took over from his elderly parents some years ago. This family know their fresh fish and offer only the best premium local produce in the cleanest fish shop I have ever seen. Just ask a question about fish - they will know the answer. Along with the best choices of SA seafood I get my sashimi grade tuna there and have never been disappointed. He now offers cooked fish, chips and yummy goodies. It's a great way to diversify and as a customer you know you are getting quality.
I went to blackwood to visit a client when on the way home i was going to get some fresh fish.Walking into this i sen it was so cleanA young guy said hello from the back. he then walked out and started chatting like a good old friend. After a chat he explained to me that i can pick my fish fresh and he will cook to my liking. HOW AWESOME IS THAT.... he said that they are a family fish shop that has been in blackwood for years. And prides himself on customers being happy.They also have a full range of fish and chip menu. MUST VISIT....
We get fresh fish and prawns exclusively from The Fish Man and have done many times in the past twenty years. It is such a place that nothing is any trouble and you get really top quality fish. The cooked fish meals are great for on the run as many are these days. Our local but all are recommended to make them a must have if anywhere near Blackwood in Adelaide South Australia. This restaurant has the best variety of fish dishes in South Africa. They offer plenty of locally caught fish that is perfectly cooked. The staff is extremely friendly. A visit here is definitely worth it.
