I've been in the mood for Brunch for weeks. This place was perfect. I called in the morning after reservations and fortunately they had room. We had to be in and out within 50 minutes because we had planned a movie. I told the staff and they could take us. But we came ready and knew what to order when we arrived. The staff is nice and friendly. The place is super cool with the art and great ambience. The food was just extremely delicious! I had the eggs Benedict Mega. Every bite was simply exquisite. I had to put my fork down so I could enjoy the food full, it was so good I got super excited lol! Salad with homemade dressing was definitely worth the upgrade. Hubby had the FART meal, he said...
Let me start by saying this 4-star is a 5-star in my books but I can’t rank them 5 stars if they’re not fully vegan. I went to the FART cafe today with a friend of mine for his birthday. I did some research before and found this beautiful restaurant with absolutely fantastic reviews. That’s always a good sign. When we walked in, we were greeted right away by the owner and her daughter Phoebe, who was a fantastic server. We started with fresh mimosas which had to be homemade orange juice. Amazing. so manny options! hallo they have vegan eggs! I haven't had a classic breakfast with speck and eggs for years. they also had these delicious zimt waffel that we had dessert for. my fiancée had the omelette that looked and tasted as we remembered. we took a chicken sandwich house that was devine! my mother had the bark stew that she had blown away (she eats meat and she said she couldn't say it.) I'll try the chocolate chip pancake next! please let's go and support this progression! oh and ps have shed milk for latte and London snow, as well as **** little and mimic!
The staff here is wonderful! Always make sure your coffee is full and up. The highlights were homemade jams and domestic frits. Children had pancakes but didn't look as fluffy as I thought, but they were big. We called to reserve as breakfast is busy, parking is a little tricky, so keep this in mind, but will be hopeful again next time they have color books for the kids as it was offered?t, the time we stopped.
What an AMAZING little place, with a great sense of humor! They call themselves Fart Cafe (Food ART), and both food and art are wonderful. Amazing, unique menu, beautiful art and wonderful, friendly and charismatic staff. Especially Phoebe was an absolute joy. Thank you for such an unexpectedly great meal and experience on our way through Whitby! Definitely recommended.
I had the vegan waffles with raspberry puree today. The maple syrup they use is the faux kind and the no longer have the vegan ice cream. I was really looking forward to the waffles and ice cream. They also have vegan pancakes, a vegan wrap and a vegan burger. Cute little place.
so wonderful, sooo many possibilities to have breakfast / lunch and they are all soouo good. the vegan BACON....OMG so good. they have pancakes, waffles, an ultimate waffle sandwich, mango chicken wraps, blts, homemade vegan burgers, salads and more I wish I could give 5 stars
I order the vegan blossom and it's really good. The houseries are amazing and I have heard the other vegan options are delicious. it is a classic diner, even jerry befeld has eaten here!
Food was delicious and staff was amazing! Come back. Reservations are strongly recommended what I didn't know, but we were accommodated immediately!
