our first time here in over 30 years (I am long gone and back recently, and have to say it was beautiful. the food delicious (see pictures! and the personal attentive and friendly. plus points. the personal, really good local ingredients, cooked to perfection and a very relaxed evening. No one pushes them to have more or to go when done, how often happens in others. perfect. negative points. well there are alwqy's negative, but to be fair, these real Nit fucks are. When we arrived, we were asked to eat bar and order drinks. when we proposed the very pleasant barman, we sit and he 'd come our order. Unfortunately, he was banged and that never happened. when the maitre de came to accompany us...
we came across this land pub the fox roby mill after the drive around to find somewhere, after our walk near parbold hill fairy glen right outside of wigan, personal made us feel welcome also tho we had not booked we were still able to order food and we were sitting in the dog friendly area his only small area inside, but if they come together with their pooches can not find
we visited here a high-time reception and the service was top-class. eating was fantastic, everyone said how nice their food was and served that many people at the same time was a fantastic effort from all. they had a few different ales and layners, and there was also a large outside area. very nice, and I want to come back for a Sunday dinner, as the bark looked fantastic!
