Thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you like peace & quiet so you can hear conversation at your table. The food is lovely, they catered to my food intolerances at dinner, but not at breakfast. Only non dairy milk they had was soy, & they did not offer a non dairy spread in place of butter, was told to bring my own when we stayed here, (Adelaide Inn), as they refused to stock it! If they lifted their game at breakfast, I'd give them 5 stars, their service was and always is, impeccable, staff are very friendly.
Old established Adelaide Inn restaurant in North Adelaide providing a pleasant relaxed evening for all. Decor a little tired but a comfortable - 70's style Food selection was good and servings generous Recommend the chicken breast and for a twist on a schnitzel try their beef with Kirkpatrick sauce - huge serve Staff very friendly and attentive throughout the evening
The experience of dining here could be improved if service staff wore hooded cloaks and decorated the place as if it were some arcane and occult pagan temple. This would make the unfriendly and uncommunicative bar man seem mysterious. It probably wouldn't excuse the weird 90s styled food, but at least then a night here would be amusing.
We were staying in the hotel at the time and decided to try the restaurant for the evening meal, my wife ordered the barramundi and I ordered the slow cooked brisket both meals were really good and the staff were very helpful and friendly

Brilliant setting, good food and service. Really surprised to find such a nice place tucked away in North Adelaide, nice change from the modern, cramped, and loud eateries that surround it.
Really happy to revisit an old favourite after a change of Management. The food choice is great, and it looked and tasted delicious! Friendly and welcoming staff. Will be going back!
Reasons I would not recommend eating at the Snooty Fox:
1) Parking - North Adelaide is awful for parking on a Saturday night;
2) the menu on their website
What a divine place, it is well established and I love the decorations of the black booth, and flying ducks and guns on the wall.

The food is amazing, duck and squid are highly recommended, they close at 9 and the chef will refuse you desert beyond 8:40pm
Beautiful meal that was reasonably priced. Nice selection of wines and a really cosy atmosphere.
