What a great find! I happened to meet a person on the Navajo Walk trail at Bryce Canyon. We got talking trails, where we were from etc and when my new friend heard that I was traveling through St George when I was journeying home, he urged me to visit The French Bakery. Micky Sampson is a 5 star executive chef who,after a long and successful career, being trained by the best in the business and gaining experience all over the world, he and his lovely wife decided to return to Micky's home in Utah and open this gem of a bakery. You HAVE to try this place!! The owner (Mitchell) and his wife are so incredibly sweet and kind-hearted!! James was so welcoming helpful, too! I went in with the intentions of just trying a croissant or two. Walked out with some cheesecake, apple danish, Nutella crossant, French bread, amazing spaghetti and a French dip sandwich!??Everything was sooo incredibly delicious!! Blown away! The pictures don’t do this place justice! It’s amazing that this bakery and all of their offerings are based off just a 3-person crew. Incredible beyond words. This bakery doesn't belong in a small strip mall tucked away from the main thoroughfare. It deserves to be featured in a magnificent promenade or housed within a gourmet restaurant. I am astonished at how perfect their lemon tart was. Perfect meringue, perfect curd, perfect crust. I felt I was committing a crime by eating something so luxurious after spending so little money. Please. Treat yourself. Go here.EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention, it is mostly a French bakery, but it is also a Vietnamese French spot! They have Vietnamese coffee, a banh mi skewer I have yet to try, and other magnificent things. Truly wonderful.
Make it a priority to go here whenever I’m in St. George. Everything I’ve had has been excellent! What makes it even more impressive is the extra effort the chef makes to meet his customers. He really works to create a connection which makes his creations even more memorable. A must visit!

Absolutely the finest crepes EVER made! I love the berry one. So simple SO perfect! Also, the chocolate croissant and fruit danish are to DIE for. The epitome of everything they’re supposed to be!! If you’re in St George, don’t miss this place! To do so would literally be criminal!! ?
The best, authentic baguettes I have ever had in the States. Take it from someone who knows a what a real one tastes like! Farmstead doesn’t even come close to this place in terms of authenticity. As a bonus, the owners are incredibly friendly.
Delicious food, everything is good, you can’t go wrong. The chef is passionate about what he does and it comes through in what he makes. The prices are excellent for the quality of the food. A definite must stop!
The owners were so kind! We got two turkey and harvarti paninis, a fruit tart and a creme brulee and they were all so phenomenal!! Cute little hole-in-the-wall that you won't be disappointed with!

Don’t come here for coffee. Truly heinous. Very strange interactions with owner as well.
I had a cream puff and it was amazing. The coffee was good too.
