Staff is mean. I politely (really) got up to check on my sandwich order once I saw it had been 15 minutes after me ordering. The lady rolled her eyes at me and told me I'd need to be patient. What in the world? I wish I could have thought of a good comeback, but right at that time, another (nicer) lady came from the back and handed it to me. As I was leaving, the lady very condescendingly said OK well you have a nice day now then . It was strange enough that the other customers were looking at us wondering what was going on. It was so weirdly rude considering all I did was ask about the food. This was a grown women...
We stopped in to The French Press while visiting the area from GA and were thoroughly impressed! The barista was super friendly and helpful with our latte orders. I highly recommend the Bourbon Caramel latte! My wife and I both got the biscuits and sausage gravy which was excellent. This place has that classic coffee shop vibe with cool art, mismatched (in a good way) furniture, cozy atmosphere, and relaxing music. We will definitely be back when we are in town again.
This was some of the best coffe I have ever had ! I loved the ambiance of the place, and the staff was very nice. I am not from the area, but I definitely will be stopping back in several times. We had the caramel brioche and the turkey Brie panini. I would recommend both of those things. They were so delicious. I had an oat milk latte with brown sugar cinnamon, and my boyfriend got the salted Carmel latte. Both were so good! I can’t wait to return!
We decided to try the French press with a medium roast coffee and it was delicious. We didn't feel the need to add sugar or milk and ended up finishing the whole pot because it was that good. I'm not sure if you typically add milk or sugar to French coffee, but it was delicious on its own. We also tried the spinach puff, blueberry muffin, and chocolate pastry, all of which were fantastic. I love finding a great coffee spot in the historic district, and French Press is always my go-to whenever I'm in the city. The decor is charming and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. I'll definitely be returning soon. Keep up the fantastic work and excellent customer service!
Came to get a coffee, a muffin, to study. Amazing service! Super considerate people. Living in a time where it seems like customer service is dying, this place is refreshing!
The place is quite spacious, and really cozy. Customer service is great! The food was awesome. My latte stayed warm for a while, so I could take my time to enjoy it.
