The Frog Pond Downtown St. Petersburg

Diner type of food always busy at weekends in downtown St Pete. This place is no exception. The food is usually good, except the crepe is far below standard. Very dry and mix. The service is good and the seat is comfortable. This frog pond has no relationship with the other two with the same name, the menu is completely different. Update: 5/2022 Finally reopened after pandemic. However, it is under new property, but the food is actually even better. Portion is huge and service is excellent.

I have quite high standards when it comes to breakfast places and that is high on my list. The service was at the top. Omelette was made with fresh eggs, large pieces of bacon and sausage. Cheese was melted just as well. I tried strawberry jam on toast, the best I had. I found out they'd make it in the house. If you want a good fresh ingredients and a great service, I recommend this place.

When visiting St. Pete Beach from the state area, Brunch was stumbled at this place. It surpasses our expectations! The service, cleanliness and atmosphere were fantastic. But the quality and toughness of the food was the real star of the show. Definitely worth the trip! Enjoy!

I got a tuna melt I was very impressed! I got it to go and they made sure that I had napkins and plasticware, and ketchup up for my tater tots. The only issue I had was just a little too much salt on my tater tots. But I definitely will be back here for lunch and/or breakfast!

The cookies were amazing; we all loved the Benedicts that were all cooked for perfection. For me a top brunch spot, you need **** fairy tales and mimoses; it was the only reason I didn't give 5.
