do not book on open table! it was easy to do, got several email and text confirmation, even a day that asked me to confirm that we are going. they didn't book us. to the happiness it was a week night and a nice young man told us that they could fit us. apparently the manager has access to an open table and had not passed the booking. the staff was very friendly, eating was ok, but nothing special.
recently moved into the opposite. the pub was then under the renovation, so we thought we would try it for a party in the afternoon. it was not too busy, had a nice relaxing atmosphere and was very comfortable. I and my wife had burgers and they were really well cooked and tasted amazing. it didn't take long to eat out, the service was great. all in a beautiful pub and would recommend a visit.
This was our first time at the pub, and most likely our last in this area. The staff were nice and friendly, but they didn't seem very knowledgeable about the food. However, we might give it another try in the future.

This is a lovely pub located right in the heart of Leyland. The food is quite enjoyable, and there's a fantastic outdoor seating area.
closed kitchen around 6.00 clock, when on the website was open until 9.00 clock
