My friends and I use this pub on a regular basis to catch up without the hassle of cooking. What a great place. Polite, friendly and efficient bar staff/waiter/ess service, great grub that veers away from the usual 'pub grub ' toast the chef), wine at reasonable prices, nice atmosphere and whats even better you don 't twinge or cringe when the bill materialises. Thanks for some great evenings so far and some to come.
Hello everyone, I highly recommend this wonderful pub. An excellent motorhome stop over off the M11. The staff are superb, locals are fantastic and all very friendly people. Food and drinks prices are reasonable. A safe and friendly place to stay. Please phone ahead for motorhome parking availability and as always should you decide to not tip up ! Stayed in the car park in our camper. Had a lovely meal and was looked after by Pauline, Kelly and all the very friendly staff. Locals pub, a lot of the customers seemed to know each other and that gave it a very warm atmosphere. Direct access to Epping forest and the town is only 20 mins away. Will be back for sure.
