This was the first time weâve been back in since and it was AMAZING. My chicken was so spectacularly delicious that I ate the whole thing, when Iâd figured Iâd have to take half home. The crispy potatoes on the side were perfect, as was the grilled asparagus our server suggested when I asked for a substitute for the ratatouille. The Glenville Stops is an absolute gem. One of the top restaurants in Boston. Located in an unassuming college neighborhood, TGS delivers innovative and diverse dishes with locally sourced fresh ingredients. Their beer and wine list has perfectly curated selections that pair perfectly with any plate you order. Also noteworthy is their vast Trappist Ale selection. Go if you havenât, go again if you have.
This is truly a neighborhood gem. If it was more centrally located, with easier parking, it would be packed. The selection of small and large plates makes for grate sharing and having one's own. Several people loved the soup special. Excellent beer and wine choices. We will go again and again and again. Once we are back to using the T that will take less time than finding a parking place!
Went for dinner. Ordered the steak frites. Among the worst steak Iâve ever had. Fries were great. The rest of the food my group ordered was equally disappointing, especially for the price we paid with tip). Beer list was decent, even though there was an emphasis on niche Belgium beers. We went on the Friday of a holiday weekend. It was pretty empty. We ordered the following small plates: grilled octopus, mushroom ravioli, and gnocchi. Each plate was delicious. We also ordered draft beer and cider which we enjoyed. The service was very good. We would definitely go there again.
Always great food, and they put our family in the quieter side room, which was perfect. Oysters for between and makes it worth it to hit this place up on the early side of the evening. Excellent all they way around.
Hidden gem. Unique menu. Phenomenal food. Generous small plates. Friendly wait staff. You will not be disappointed.
