Charming traditional pub with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. I often visit solo or with friends, and what I really appreciate is that it's a dog-friendly establishment, so I can bring my dog along, who always receives treats. Since the new ownership, they have been consistently organizing new events, often in collaboration with other local businesses. My favorite is the Sunday lunch—the roast pork is absolutely delicious. Had lunch here with the family. Food drink and service were good. Had fish of which the battery was a bit soft. But it indicated how fresh the meal had been made so not a problem. A cracking little stay perfect for some fishing on the River severn. Called in on spec £95 including breakfast for 2. Room big and spotless. Evening meal in pub lovely. Breakfast very tasty, well cooked and presented, set us up for the day .
