Don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews because the food is TERRIBLE! My fiancé and i dined here for my 30th birthday and we were so excited to try it out. We got the oysters Rockefeller, the warm Brie salad, escargot, and the steak tartare. Everything tasted old. The steak tartare looked like dog food. The oysters Rockefeller had this hollandaise sauce on top that tasted like they made it with grocery store bought packets. The escargot tasted like they had been frozen previously. I never leave reviews like this but we spent almost $200 to have a good dinner and nothing lived up to our expectations. The martinis we got even tasted watered down. And the next morning, I’m sick...
Spectacular food and experience! Absolutely one of the most delicious and well curated meals I’ve ever had, well worth the high price tag for a special outing. I tried the tuna tartare, the Long Island duck, and the chocolate moose cake. The duck was delicious, but my favorite part was the chestnut mash so good and never had anything like it. Definitely check this place out. Sitting outside also felt like a true French experience; it reminded me of a trip to Paris! Service is excellent, staff so friendly, polite, and helpful. This place is truly unique and one of my favorites, not just for the food but for the people! Desi and Alice are excellent hosts, and along with their staff, they provide a dining experience like no other restaurant in Morristown. The lunch menu offers great value and the wine selection is extensive. My favorite dishes include the lamb chops, escargot, barbecue ribs, and cheeseburger. Kiernan makes fantastic Manhattans, and Angel makes delicious hot toddies. Be sure to make a reservation, as this place is a true gem in Morristown.
This restaurant exceeded all expectations with its exceptional dishes. From the delicious Dover sole that my husband ordered to the flavorful chicken dish that my son enjoyed, every bite was simply incredible. My scallops practically melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in a taste explosion. It ranks as one of the best dining experiences we've ever had, even compared to some upscale restaurants we've visited. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Two thumbs up!
