We've visited this restaurant several times, and the service is generally excellent when it comes to coffee. However, our recent brunch experience was quite disappointing. For starters, we weren't checked in upon arrival, which caused us to be blacklisted by Open Table. It took 30 minutes for our order to be served. I had ordered poached eggs with my breakfast, but I received fried eggs instead (which were eventually replaced). My wife ordered Eggs Royal, but the muffin was hard, and the poached eggs were overcooked—essentially boiled. While the staff were polite and attentive, the overall experience this time was lacking. Beautiful location on that lovely warm weekend in October. We sat outside by the lovely English garden terrace. We ordered quickly. The venue warrants a better restaurant experience and menu. The quality of the food is disappointing (4th below par visit). Its more like a cafe. Its often busy so maybe we hold a minority view point. For consistency, menu, service and standards there are much better options not too far away. Sorry for the bad review. :o/
