This restaurant is a family-owned pub and when we visited, the staff were two sisters (unfortunately, I have forgotten their names!). Upon arrival, we received a friendly and welcoming greeting while still maintaining a professional demeanor. The decor is attractive and fitting for the location. The menu offers a good variety of options and our choices were taken and delivered efficiently, neither too slowly nor too quickly. Our food was beautifully prepared and presented, cooked to perfection. The drink selection is diverse, catering to all tastes. I took a friend here for his birthday. I was very impressed with greeting we received after walking through the door and everything that followed afterwards. The food was incredible and the roasted squash with tomato was amazing. A quiet venue depspite quite a few people being in. Thank you. I'll be back.
The restaurant offers delicious, hearty dishes in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is our go-to place for a casual meal with family at the last minute. The portions are ample and the prices are quite reasonable. While the cuisine is not fancy, it is well-prepared simple traditional pub fare.

Really lovely village pub/restaurant run by father and daughter. They are always welcoming and friendly. Food is excellent, great place for a relaxed meal out.
Wonderful food, helpful friendly staff and good prices as always. Spoilt only by being charged £1 for two tiny additional anchovies on a starter.
