My friend had just come back from Saudi Arabia, so we decided to go out for a meal with my friends. After several failed attempts to find a place with availability, we ended up at the Green Room. Our first impression was that it was a vibrant, modern restaurant on the more affordable end of the spectrum. Eventually, we were able to order and the service was friendly. We ordered a couple of Peronis and some soft drinks. Everything seemed to be going well until we placed our food orders, which consisted mostly of burgers. My friends and I have had wonderful experiences at The Green Room on multiple occasions. During our most recent visit, we were sitting outdoors enjoying our evening when we were asked to finish our drinks as the night was coming to a close. However, before heading home, my friend and I tried to use the restroom inside the bar, only to be denied access because it was already closed. The staff were quite impolite, instructing us to just go use our own toilet at home. After spending a significant amount of money at the bar throughout the night, we felt entitled to use the facilities. This bar is located in the charming hidden courtyard, Goose Green. If you enjoy rock & roll, be sure to check out their live music, including open mic nights every Thursday. I suggest arriving early to explore the surrounding establishments at Goose Green before the live music starts around 9-10pm. They have one of the best selections of Jack Daniels in the country! It's best to arrive early as the place can get very busy and crowded. Perfect for a fun night out with friends! I promise this place will not disappoint, with their exciting nights at the Green Room!
I meet my brother and his friends here most Fridays. They always have a live band and it can get a little cramped so the seating area and tables outside can be a godsend. The bar gets crowded so the waitress service is very convenient to save queuing. Different vocalists for the resident trio and some Fridays it's a different band so the music is varied.
