The food is really good and portions are large, especially dessert portions. Burgers are really nice course ground patties, rather than finely ground, so nicer coarse texture that I prefer. Some unusual choices on the menu which were successful too, such as lamb tacos. These worked well but were slightly smaller portions. Could have probably eaten 3 instead of 2. But desserts afterwards could all have served two people. Pavlova the size of a dinner plate and really rich chocolate brownies that were great but we struggled to finish. Nice cosy pub with a good atmosphere, great food, friendly staff and nice outdoor area. Website says they are open Mondays but I went there today and they were closed
We loved this pub. The garden is great, the food is great, ambience and staff are great. You get the picture… Tasty lamb tacos. Fabulous fresh mussels.
