There was plenty made in the container and the overall portion of everything was prefect. One of my fav Halal Guys location. Usually come here for take-outs, but decided to dine-in this time. It wasn't too busy when we got there. No wait and easy to find parking and a table. Quick service and quiet atmosphere. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Chicken Beef Gyro Platter with side Hummus. The food tasted the same as before. Their chicken shawarma was really flavorful and a must-try for their limited menu item. The hummus is nice addition to the platter or if you want extra spread inside the sandwich. They're located inside a plaza that have HomeGoods, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, and other businesses with plenty of parking space. Directly across from the mall off Colima Road.
Have you ever been to a restaurant and thought, “wow, this is so good, I want to make this at home”, and then you go home and try to replicate it to the best of your ability but something always isn’t quite right. This makes you return to said restaurant and for many of us, that’s why we have favorite places to eat. We simply can’t duplicate it even if we tried. I can’t say this is the same story for The Halal Guys. It tastes like something you could easily make at home, even their “secret sauce”– which doesn’t taste all that secret. For that reason, it is overrated in my opinion. It’s ok, it’s good, but doesn’t live up to the hype or price.
A local spot here in Rowland Heights! Cynthia took care of us and her customer service was amazing. We came in during dinner time at around 7:00pm and the line was relatively short. I probably only waited 5-minutes max. I also had no trouble parking because it was in a plaza-type area with other surrounding restaurants. There was also a bathroom inside for customers only, but it was clean and well-maintained! Overall experience was solid. No complaints!

The service at this restaurant felt very cold, and the manager, Chris, was quite unprofessional. I arrived on time for an in-person interview, but the manager was absent. I received a text message 30 minutes later asking if I could do a FaceTime interview instead. I recommend trying a family-owned Mediterranean restaurant instead. Food rating: 1/5.
The service was mixed; one server was very friendly while another seemed tired and wasn't very helpful. The food was excellent! I really enjoyed the gyro, beef, chicken, and rice with the white sauce. The red sauce is quite spicy, so I recommend asking for it on the side. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
Would come to this place because I love my cultures food but this time I found a bug in my food. Not coming back here again. I even crunched it with my spoon and seen the guts come out. I didn’t ask for extra protein so why did they put it in there?
You have to check out this place! The food is incredibly tasty. I typically order a combo plate with chicken and beef. When you mix it all together with the white sauce, you’ll be hooked! It’s just that good! Food: 5/5
