I opted for the two-course menu, starting with delicious battered black pudding paired with onion chutney, followed by roast leg of lamb finished with a rich red wine jus, accompanied by new potatoes, cabbage, leeks, and carrots—all for just £17.50. My brother chose the steamed mussels in a creamy garlic sauce served with chips for £15. The portion sizes were generous, and I can't recommend this place highly enough. This is a delightful restaurant with fantastic steaks that are cooked to perfection, which is increasingly rare to find. I was recommended to visit The Hall, and I'm happy to pass that recommendation along. Prices range from £30 to £40 per person. Overall, I would rate the food a solid 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere also a 4.
