We booked a table at least a week in advance for 2pm on Easter Sunday to dine two adults and a 3yr old. On arrival we was greeted and seated quickly. A drink was served on the table straight away a long with menus to browse over. People arriving after us are being seated either side and communicated to while the dining room is filling up. At least 35 minutes has passed since we arrived and the staff haven’t been to see if we were ready to order. The three of us are sitting with empty glasses awaiting communication. The Hampstall Inn was a welcome surprise to our little holiday in a cottage literally a minute away. The inn is in a wonderful location overlooking the river Severn with lots of seating outside on a private terrace or down on the river bank. The staff are lovely go beyond being helpful. They have a good selection of beers wines the menu is adequate for a family dinner. The prices are very competitive the portions are generous. We all loved the amazing burgers. We really can't recommend a visit to the Hampstall Inn enough.
Beautiful place by the river, we visit regular, during summer months. I always tend to have steak ,comes with chips salad , peas mushrooms, the works really . Husband had curry rice naan , naan was small probably the size of your hand, when the Guy asked if everything was okay while we were eating my husband said naan could do with being a bit bigger, he immediately fetched him another one and apologised. rmeals were beautiful as always , we have never had a bad meal,and will be their today spring bank holiday may.

Poor show from the Hampstall. Took me half an hour to walk down and I arrived at 22.15hrs on Saturday evening only to be told upon arrival that the bar was closed and they were cashing up. The website states that it closes at 23.00hrs. Poor management. The pub should honour its publicly stated closing time.

The meal was lovely all 4 of us were given large portions, the quality of food was excellent as was the service. We will be back again to work through the menu.
