This is our third visit in eight weeks. Lovely venue, lovely food but………they need to address the following: Slow it all down!! You are rushed from start to finish with barely a pause between courses! TRAIN the waiting staff!! Omg they are SO bad! No attention to you and your needs, just rush rush rush! Various drink orders didn’t arrive, mustard didn’t arrive, coffee didn’t arrive, chair leg continually kicked by waiting staff as they RUSHED by!! At one point I had to go onto the kitchen to get my course myself!!!! Third visit but won’t be back!! Shame as raining the staff is such a simple thing to fix. Food lovely.
we came on Thursday this week name paul drinkwater we really do not like the food fish and chips very pale slim and wet inside did not eat, but our waitress said it needed an additional 3 minutes cooking time. very disappointed. my son had the spiced chicken he didn't really enjoy. I'm sorry to give this review, but it's how we felt. menu also not good for us.
Really tasty food with some new combinations that we 're so interesting. I was a little concerned that my scotch egg was undercooked, but no after effects , so clearly not. Staff were attentive until we tried to pay the Bill, then we couldn 't attract anyone 's attention, but I 'm being picky. Overall, a lovely evening.
First time back for a while. New chef is great, food just delicious. Chips were out of this world tasty. The sauce on the steak was amazing. So lovely to catch up with Ian, fabulous as always. Waiters were great, just needed to notice empty glasses and fill water a little more often, but just a lovely evening. Thank you

Excellent twice in the last 2 weeks, Ian and Lucy look after us so well best resteraunt in the area.
a little disappointing. nothing was wrong, but the little one was missing.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Great food and service. Can’t fault it.
