Warm and friendly welcome. Limited but good choice on the Prix Fixe menu but complemented by an excellent choice on the blackboard . We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the dressings accompaniments were superb. The surroundings were comfortable and the decor just right for a country pub atmosphere. We will certainly be going back. Full marks to the Owner Chef from La Reunion!
Hare and Hound Pub, Lingfield We had a wonderful lunch in this very quaint country pub in Lingfield. Our meal was beautifully presented, the quality of ingredients and expertise of the French chef made for a culinary delight. The staff were very attentive and the service was excellent. Will definitely being going back.
I love the relaxed feel to this place. My hubby and I decided to grab an early Friday evening supper. We just went for a main course which was Rib Eye Steak and Chips although there was plenty to choose from! The steak was very tasty and not too fatty. A really nice early evening meal in nice surroundings.
Always amazes me to discover little gems like this outside of major cities. Couldn't fault any of our courses. Don't waste time on the pub grub, go for the specials. Will be going back soon. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was quite simply amazing. Scallops to die for and I have to say the best belly pork I have had anywhere the thinnest and crispest of crackling delicious!
The Hare Hounds in Lingfield is a fantastic pub full of atmosphere and with great food. The service is friendly and you just feel at home here.
